How do I bid ?
- You must be an ICCA Member or ICCA Congress delegate to be eligable to bid.
- The ICCA Silent Auction process consists of two parts: Online and On-site. The Auction
starts Online. After the Online deadline has passed, all donations and bids will
be transferred to the Spotme binder. On-site, the Silent Auction continues until
the deadline given below.
Online bids:
- In order to place a bid you should use the account created for you (sent by email).
You can also request an account by clicking on the register button on the page menu.
Your request is sent to ICCA Head Office who will approve within 1 working day.
- After approval, you will be able to browse through all prizes. When you see a prize
that interests you, you can click on it.
- On the right side of the item page there is a “bidding INFO” box where you can see
the current bid status of the prize. In the field “Your Maximum Bid” place the amount
(in Euros) you are willing to pay for the item and click “bid now”. A confirmation
box will appear confirming your bid, if you are happy with the amount click “bid
now”. (If you are not logged in you will be re-directed to a login page).
- Minimum bid and bid increment requirements have been set. Unless bids follow the
bid increments noted for each prize, the bid will be discarded.
- You will receive a bid confirmation email for reference.
- You are free to bid as many times as you like to ensure your prize.
- If your maximum bid is lower than someone else’s maximum bid you will receive an
email informing you that you have been outbid and you can place a higher maximum
bid. Note: what you enter as your Max Bid is NOT necessarily what you have to
pay for the item. You will only pay as much as is required to make you the highest
bidder until you reach your maximum bid!
- Bids are not retractable.
- You will only be able to make an online bid until 18 October 2011, 13:00
hours (Amsterdam, Netherlands time | GMT + 1).
